Annual Brad'tout Street Sale on Rue du Stade in Ossé, end of September
Every last Sunday of September, Ossé (35410) organizes its Brad'tout street sale on Rue du Stade and its surroundings. Under this amusing name hides a village car boot sale where exhibitors offer truly everything: clothes, toys, books, dishes, trinkets, tools, decorations, small furniture, and unusual objects. The atmosphere is resolutely rural and relaxed, with neighbors and residents from surrounding towns gathering for this last flea market of the season.
Ossé, a small commune of 1,800 inhabitants, is nestled in the hedgerow country between Châteaugiron and Janzé, 20 km southeast of Rennes. The village, crossed by the Rimon stream, retains a rural charm with its restored farms and sunken lanes. The Brad'tout street sale contributes to the associative vitality of this commune where volunteers invest themselves in animating local life.
Admission is free. A food area with crepes, grills, and drinks accompanies this autumn bargain hunting day. Parking is available near the stadium.
