Autumn flea market at the heart of the village celebration
Every autumn, the Orgueil Festival Committee includes a big flea market in the programme of the village fair. The centre of Orgueil comes alive with exhibitors, bargain hunters and festivities in a typical Quercy atmosphere. An ideal day to combine treasure hunting, entertainment and discovery of this charming Tarn-et-Garonne village.
In Orgueil, a small village on the right bank of the Tarn, the village fair is a high point of the calendar. Each year, the Festival Committee organises several days of festivities: meals, entertainment, dances, funfair and, as a highlight, a big flea market that takes over the village centre.
Private sellers and exhibitors offer clothing, toys, books, dishes, records, baby items, board games, small furniture, curios and decorative items. Occasional brocanteurs bring vintage furniture and antique lamps.
The flea market is part of the festive village fair, making it especially convivial. Refreshment bar, country catering, musical entertainment and funfair all contribute to the popular atmosphere.
Orgueil sits halfway between Montauban and Villemur-sur-Tarn. Visitors can extend their day with a visit to Nègrepelisse, its La Cuisine art centre, or a walk along the Tarn.
The Orgueil Festival Committee invites everyone on Sunday 4 October 2026 in the village centre for its village fair flea market. Bargain hunting, entertainment, funfair and country catering will make for a festive Tarn-et-Garonne day.
Village centre of Orgueil, 82370.
