The Vexin's great flea market gathering
Nucourt, a small Vexin village of a few hundred inhabitants, has become one of the go-to destinations for flea market enthusiasts in Val-d'Oise. The fair organised by the Foyer Rural — an association founded in 1957 — regularly attracts around 300 sellers. The village centre transforms for a day into a vast secondhand market where amateurs and professionals rub shoulders. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with food and drinks provided by the Foyer Rural team.
Stalls offer antique furniture and decorative objects, crockery, glassware, vintage clothing, toys, books, vinyl records, tools, and all manner of curios. Seasoned visitors know to arrive at opening time (8am) to snap up the best finds before they go. The fair runs until 6pm.
