Organised each spring by the COS of Noirmoutier-en-l'Île. A traditional island commune rendezvous. 2026: Sunday 19 April. The COS gathers the commune's municipal staff and runs several actions year-round.
The spring flea market marks the start of the island's tourist season. Permanent residents, second-home owners returning for Easter, and first tourists meet in a relaxed, friendly mood.

Noirmoutier, the mimosa island
Main historic commune. Old centre dominated by the 12th-century medieval castle, with paved lanes, white houses with colourful shutters, shops, terraces. Plage des Dames, Bois de la Chaise, salt marshes, hiking trails.
In spring, Noirmoutier is magnificent: mimosas bloom, early vegetables (Bonnotte potato) begin to arrive, still quiet. Ideal visit season.
