Since 1979, the Nesles-la-Vallée antiques fair brings together 180 professional sellers every autumn in this village of the Oise Valley
Nesles-la-Vallée (95690) is a charming village in the Oise Valley in Val-d'Oise, nestled between L'Isle-Adam and Mériel, about 30 km from Paris. Every autumn since 1979, its Antiquités-Brocante brings together up to 180 sellers in the village streets and the heated community hall. This event is one of the most selective in the department: clothing, shoes and new items are strictly prohibited, and antique dealers are given priority.
The quality of the stalls and the rigour of the controls exercised by the volunteer organisers have built the reputation of this event, which attracts discerning bargain-hunters and collectors from across Île-de-France and beyond. The diversity of sellers is remarkable: professional antique dealers, experienced brocanteurs and passionate private individuals offer antique furniture, paintings, porcelain, silverware, clocks, decorative items, old books and collectibles of all periods.
The Nesles-la-Vallée Antiques Fair is entirely organised by volunteers, giving it an associative and warm character not found in professional fairs. Sellers must book in advance and set up from 4:30 AM, well before opening to the public. Strict rules govern the quality of items on display.
