Mushroom Fair 2025 — November 8th and 9th

On November 8th and 9th, 2025, Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid donned its festive attire to host its grand annual mycological fair. The village, already renowned for its gastronomic restaurants, welcomed around 20,000 visitors from all over the region for this free and festive event.

The professional flea market, with about forty specialized exhibitors, took over the village squares and streets starting at 7:30 am. Meanwhile, the market for dried mushrooms and local products allowed visitors to stock up for winter with porcini, chanterelles, and wild mushrooms. The mycological exhibition with its educational workshops was a great success with families and schoolchildren. The village's starred chefs provided culinary demonstrations and offered special menus highlighting mushrooms.
