Every March, the multi-purpose hall of Brienne-le-Château hosts one of the most eclectic and appreciated collection fairs in the Aube department. Organized with exemplary regularity since its first edition, the Multi-Collections Fair of Brienne-le-Château celebrated its 22nd edition on Sunday, March 1, 2026, bringing together exhibitors and collectors from all over the region from 8 am to 5 pm.
The strength of the Brienne Multi-Collections Fair lies in its diversity. Here, there is no restrictive specialization: all areas of collection are represented, to the delight of general enthusiasts as well as the most discerning specialists. On the program at the stands: old and new postcards, old papers and historical documents, philately (stamps, postmarks, postal stationery), numismatics (coins and banknotes), champagne and beer caps, old and collectible books, prints and engravings, antique toys (lead soldiers, figurines, cars), vinyl records of all eras, and comic books.
The fair is held in the multi-purpose hall of Brienne-le-Château, a suitable space that allows for a neat presentation of the collections and easy circulation between the stands, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Each edition of the Brienne-le-Château Multi-Collections Fair is enhanced by a special theme, highlighting a particular collection. The 22nd edition, held on March 1, 2026, showcased 1/8th scale model cars (approximately 60 cm long). About fifteen spectacular models were exhibited, including an impressive Ghostbusters Cadillac and an authentic old English bus. This thematic exhibition attracts a curious audience each year, extending beyond the usual circle of seasoned collectors.
The town of Brienne-le-Château is intimately linked to Napoleonic history. It was here that young Bonaparte completed his military studies from 1779 to 1784, before becoming Emperor. This historical connection naturally fuels the passion of local collectors for objects of history and memory. The multi-collections fair perpetuates this tradition of rare and precious objects in a town that has seen the greatest Napoleonic collections pass through.
The Multi-Collections Fair is held every year in March (usually the first Sunday), from 8 am to 5 pm, in the multi-purpose hall of Brienne-le-Château. Free admission for visitors. Refreshments on site.
