Mourillon, beating heart of Toulon's treasure hunting

Between the harbour, the beaches and the coloured façades climbing towards Cap Brun, Mourillon is one of the liveliest parts of Toulon. Restaurants, small shops, daily markets and seafront walks make it a favourite Sunday destination. On the first Saturday of each month the district's identity deepens further with a huge open-air brocante and flea market on boulevard Bazeilles.

Organised by the Mourillon traders' association (ACM), the event stretches for several hundred metres facing the sea. Residents unpacking wardrobes mix with professional brocanteurs based on the Var circuit, offering everything from one-euro finds to fine antique furniture.

The monthly season returns on the first Saturday of each month: 4 April, 2 May, 6 June, 4 July, 1 August, 5 September, 3 October, 7 November and 5 December 2026.
