A charitable flea market in the heart of the Mossig valley

The Entente de la Mossig Flea Market is an annual spring event held in Wasselonne, a charming medieval town located at the entrance to the Mossig valley, about 25 kilometers west of Strasbourg. For its 2nd edition, the event takes place at the Municipal Pool Park, a wooded and shaded site offering a very pleasant setting for both exhibitors and visitors. The event is organized by the Entente de la Mossig, an association bringing together several sports clubs from Wasselonne and Romanswiller.

A day of treasure hunting in the open air

From dawn, private sellers and professional vendors unpack their treasures: vintage items, family knick-knacks, crockery, toys, clothing, vinyl records, books, small household appliances, children's bicycles, tools and collectibles. Bargain hunters stroll through the aisles in search of good deals or rare pieces, enjoying the mild spring weather and the friendly atmosphere typical of Alsatian flea markets. Throughout the day, a bar and snack stand run by the club volunteers offer cold drinks, flammekueche, sandwiches and homemade pastries.

Wasselonne, a town of art and history at the foot of the Vosges

Wasselonne is a small town of nearly 5,800 inhabitants nestled at the foot of the Vosges, in the Mossig valley. Its historic center preserves many remnants of its medieval past: the castle tower, ramparts, half-timbered houses and fortified gate. Known for its famous Wasselonne Festival, its distillery and its weekly market, the town is also renowned for its dynamic community and sports associations.
