Twice a year, the market square of Montreuil vibrates to the rhythm of needles and fabrics. The Puces des Couturières, organised by the ReCreAzart association, transforms the Croix de Chavaux Market Hall into a specialised market unique in Île-de-France, entirely devoted to the world of sewing, thread and textiles.
A one-of-a-kind market
With over 100 vendors, creators, collectors, craftspeople and manufacturers, the Puces des Couturières offers an exceptional panorama of the textile arts: fabrics from renowned publishers, vintage Japanese and Chinese textiles, lace and embroidery, all kinds of threads and yarns, antique haberdashery and buttons, vintage household linen, and around twenty textile designers presenting their contemporary creations.
