The Montévrain Flea Market: a Spring Classic in Seine-et-Marne

Every spring, the young town of Montévrain, located in sector IV of Marne-la-Vallée in the immediate vicinity of Disneyland Paris, organizes its major annual flea market. This event, which has become over the years one of the most popular in the Val d'Europe, transforms the Avenue de la Société des Nations into a huge open-air market where individuals and families come to sell the items they wish to part with and to browse in search of good deals.

More than 300 Exhibitors, Thousands of Visitors

For its 15th edition, the Montévrain flea market welcomes more than 300 private exhibitors who deploy their stands from 8am to 6pm. Reserved for used items only (professional dealers and new products are prohibited), the event guarantees browsers the authentic spirit of the flea market: old toys, clothing, books, tableware, trinkets, small furniture, childcare equipment, sports and leisure items, collectibles. It is the ideal opportunity to make great finds at low prices while supporting the circular economy.

A Growing New Town

Montévrain is an emblematic town of the new urbanization of Seine-et-Marne. Deeply transformed by the development of Val d'Europe and the proximity of Disneyland Paris, its population has exploded over the past twenty years while retaining its old town center and natural park. The flea market, organized by the town hall, embodies the spirit of conviviality and diversity of a young town which has been able to create real highlights to bring together its former and new inhabitants.

Avenue de la Société des Nations, an Ideal Setting

Avenue de la Société des Nations, a wide thoroughfare in the center of Montévrain, offers a setting perfectly suited to hosting a large-scale flea market. Exhibitors have vast spaces, visitors enjoy comfortable aisles and optimal visibility. Food stalls and entertainment are usually provided throughout the day to enhance the walk and allow families to spend a full Sunday on site.

Registration and Organization

Registration for exhibitors is done in advance at the municipal annex located at 6 rue de Copenhague and at the Espace Matthieu Doucet, 5 boulevard Charles de Gaulle. Spaces are allocated according to the order of registration, and the event is generally sold out several weeks before the date. Organizers remind that only personal used items can be put up for sale, in accordance with regulations in force on unpacking sales.

Montévrain and Val d'Europe: a Full Day

Visitors from afar can take advantage of their stopover to discover the riches of Val d'Europe: international shopping center, La Vallée Village and its outlet stores, Disneyland Paris, or the banks of the Marne and neighboring Brie villages. The proximity of the Val d'Europe RER A station makes the event easily accessible by public transport from Paris and all of Île-de-France.

Practical Information

The flea market is held from 8am to 6pm on Avenue de la Société des Nations. Admission is free for visitors. Montévrain is accessible by car via the A4 (Val d'Europe exit) and by RER A from Paris (Val d'Europe stop).
