Annual car boot sale organized by the Mohon Festival Committee, a rural village in the Josselin region
Every first Sunday of September, the small village of Mohon hosts a car boot sale organized by its Festival Committee. This country gathering illustrates the associative vitality of rural communes in inland Morbihan, between Josselin and La Trinité-Porhoët.
A rural commune of about 800 inhabitants, Mohon is located in the Josselin region, at the crossroads of roads between Ploërmel and Loudéac. Its preserved hedgerows, its granite farms, and its parish church bear witness to an authentic rural heritage. The car boot sale is one of the few commercial events of the year in this very rural area.
The rate of 2 euros per linear meter makes the event very accessible for individuals wishing to clear out their attics. Tables can be rented for 2 euros for 3 meters. This pricing policy attracts many exhibitors and offers visitors a wide choice of low-priced items.
