The summer rendezvous for geologists and lapidaries
On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2026, the Salle Camille-Farjon in Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes hosts the annual minerals, fossils and jewellery fair organised by AGMS. Exhibitors from across France and sometimes abroad offer a journey into matter itself: quartz crystals, amethysts, tourmalines, pyrites, marine and continental fossils, ammonites, trilobites, fossilised shark teeth, petrified wood, and beautiful jewellery cut from natural stones.
Mineral and fossil fairs uniquely combine science, collection and aesthetics. Amateur scientists mingle with children fascinated by colourful crystals, jewellers seeking their stones and specialised collectors. Exhibitors take time to explain mineral formation, origins and properties.
Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, in the heart of wine-growing Haut-Vaucluse, is near the former papal Enclave of Valréas. The region offers rich natural heritage: Baronnies and Mont Ventoux massifs, Luberon ochres.
