The event takes place on the football field next to the community hall, a spacious and shaded area that can accommodate a large number of exhibitors in excellent conditions. Organized by the parents' association in partnership with the town hall, this event has become one of the essential flea market appointments in the area.

A beautiful spring day by the Seine

From six in the morning, exhibitors set up their stalls. Crockery, clothing, toys, books, records, small appliances, tools, trinkets, garden furniture, baby items: the diversity on offer reflects the vitality of this village flea market. Visitors stroll through the aisles, negotiate and find good deals, while a refreshment stand run by the association offers barbecue, fries, pancakes and cold drinks for a friendly lunch break.

Mézières-sur-Seine, a charming Yvelines village

With around 4,000 inhabitants, Mézières-sur-Seine retains its village character in the Seine bend, with its Romanesque church, old houses and beautiful river landscapes. Visitors can extend their visit with a walk along the river or towards the nearby Saint-Germain-en-Laye forest.

The funds raised by the parents' association are used to finance educational projects and school trips for the schools of Mézières-sur-Seine. The flea market, beyond its bargain hunting dimension, also has a beautiful community purpose.
