Méré May Day Car Boot Sale — 2025 Edition
On Thursday 1 May 2025, Méré's Village Hall hosted the village's annual car boot sale. Private sellers and residents of neighbouring communes in the Chablisien set up their stalls to offer antique objects, clothing, books and trinkets to visitors who came to enjoy the public holiday in this peaceful village setting. The catering provided by the organisers allowed everyone to share a convivial meal, turning the car boot sale into a true village fête in the spirit of May Day in Burgundy.
