Every June, the USC Basket — Union Sportive Basket Concarnoise — organizes its traditional troc et puces under the parking lot of the E.Leclerc supermarket in Concarneau. With sixty to a hundred exhibitors depending on the edition, the event attracts a large public of bargain hunters from all over Finistère Sud. The 19th edition was held on June 14, 2026, demonstrating the longevity and loyalty of this gathering.

USC Basket, a club at the heart of Concarneau's life

The Union Sportive Basket Concarnoise (USC Basket) is one of the most popular sports clubs in Concarneau. Bringing together men's and women's teams of all age categories, it is a pillar of local community life. The annual organization of a troc et puces represents one of the club's main additional resources, helping to finance equipment, licenses, and travel for young basketball players from the Cornouaille region.

The longevity of the event — nineteen editions and more — attests to well-established organization and a strong attachment of the people of Concarneau to this event. Club volunteers ensure the welcome of exhibitors, site management, and the atmosphere of the day each year.

Around 70 exhibitors under the Leclerc parking lot

The choice of the covered parking lot of Leclerc in Concarneau offers a practical space protected from the weather, which is appreciated in Brittany. Exhibitors set up early in the morning to offer their selection of second-hand items: clothing of all sizes, toys, books, crockery, vinyl records, small electronics, decoration, and various other items. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with around 70 exhibitors depending on the edition.

Admission is €1.50 for visitors, a modest sum that directly contributes to the club's funds. Families and bargain hunters meet there every year in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
