The Amicale Radio Assistance, an original organizer

The Amicale Radio Assistance is an association whose primary mission is related to radiocommunication — radio amateurs, CB, or rescue — but which has become involved in organizing this large local flea market, thus becoming one of the most visible associative players in the life of Sermaize-les-Bains. This associative versatility is characteristic of small rural towns where associations must adapt and innovate to meet the needs of the population and finance their activities.

The logistical management of 250 pitches represents a significant organizational challenge, which the Amicale Radio Assistance successfully meets each year thanks to the commitment of its volunteers and the experience gained over the editions. Exhibitor registration, pitch demarcation, reception, and communication are handled with seriousness and professionalism.

Sermaize-les-Bains, former spa resort of the Marne

Sermaize-les-Bains (51250) is a small town in the Marne whose name evokes its spa past. Its sulfurous springs attracted bourgeois clientele in search of spa treatments in the 19th and early 20th centuries, giving it hotel infrastructure and public facilities (parks, promenades, thermal establishment) that exceed what one might expect from a town of this size.

Today, although the spa activity is no longer what it used to be, Sermaize-les-Bains retains the charm of its tree-lined parks and its Belle Époque bourgeois residences.
