Every year in June, the association Creys Équinature organizes an original event at the Salle des Écoux parking lot: a car boot sale combined with an equestrian equipment sale. This unique formula in Nord-Isère allows individuals to sell everyday items as well as second-hand equestrian equipment.

A concept open to all

While the equestrian equipment sale naturally attracts riders and horse riding enthusiasts, the organizer emphasizes that the event is open to everyone, not just those involved in the equestrian world. The classic car boot sale is alongside saddles, bridles, protective gear, and equestrian accessories, creating an eclectic mix that gives this event its charm. Pitches are offered at 3 euros per linear meter, for both individuals and professionals.

Creys-Mépieu, a rural commune in Nord-Isère

Creys-Mépieu is a sprawling commune in Nord-Isère, known notably for the Bugey nuclear power plant and the Brangues dam lake. The rural nature of this commune favors equestrian activities, and the association Creys Équinature contributes to local animation with its horse-themed events. The Salle des Écoux, the venue for the event, has a large parking area suitable for setting up open-air stalls.
