Palluau runs its annual flea market in May 2026 on Place Clérembault, 9am-6pm. Jointly organised by UNC (national combatants' union) and Ankiabé-France — 17th edition. 10 May 2026 is referenced; some sources say 3 May — confirm with organisers. Vendors set up 7am-9am.

Palluau, North-Vendée village

Around 1,100 residents in North-Vendée between Challans and La Roche-sur-Yon. Known for its castle (private, visible from the village) and farming tradition. Plains, bocage and small woods. Crossed by the Vie river flowing to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.

Community commitment

The Palluau UNC is the local chapter of the national combatants' union. The flea market supports its members and causes. Ankiabé-France (twinning with Ankiabé in Madagascar) adds its own solidarity contribution.
