The Toul Spring Street Sale: A Great Treasure Hunting Festival

Every year in early May, Place de la République in Toul hosts a major event combining a car boot sale, flea market, and spring street sale. Organized by Éric Jean, this day of treasure hunting and good deals attracts hundreds of visitors to the fortified city of Meurthe-et-Moselle, between the Vauban ramparts and Saint-Étienne Cathedral.

Three Events in One

The unique feature of this event is its triple format. The car boot sale allows individuals to clear out their attics and offer second-hand items, clothes, toys, and books for sale. The flea market brings together enthusiasts and professionals of antique objects, furniture, and curiosities. The street sale offers merchants the opportunity to sell items at reduced prices. This diversity guarantees visitors a rich and varied treasure hunting experience.

Place de la République, the Beating Heart of Toul

Place de la République is one of Toul's main squares, ideally located in the heart of the fortified city. This vast space regularly hosts markets and events, and is perfectly suited for setting up street sale stalls.
