Every 1st Sunday of the month, Place Saint-Pierre in Pontarlier comes alive with the rhythm of the large monthly car boot sale. Organized by Commerce Pontarlier Centre, this regular event is the main second-hand market in Haut-Doubs and attracts bargain hunters from all over the Doubs department, the Jura, and even neighboring Switzerland.

Up to 150 exhibitors

From 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, around 150 exhibitors — individuals clearing out their attics and professional flea market vendors — take over the square to offer a varied selection: clothes, toys, crockery, books, vinyl records, small furniture, trinkets, and objects of all kinds. The diversity of the stalls always guarantees great finds for collectors and bargain hunters.
