Car boot sale of La Vicomté-sur-Rance

A double annual event on the banks of the Rance

La Vicomté-sur-Rance, a picturesque small town nestled in the Rance valley between Dinan and Saint-Malo, hosts two car boot sales each year organized by the Amicale Laïque. The spring edition, in April, allows residents of the town and surrounding areas to hunt for treasures in a friendly atmosphere. The summer edition, at the end of August, is the most important with up to 250 exhibitors who take over the village streets.

Organization in service of the public school

The Amicale Laïque de La Vicomté, which brings together parents of students from the Tiphaine Raguenel public school, organizes these car boot sales to fund school and extracurricular activities for the children of the town. The profits are used to finance educational outings, shows, and educational materials. A community commitment that gives these events a appreciated solidarity dimension.
