The annual Guerville flea market, a small rural Yvelines village near Mantes-la-Jolie
The annual Guerville flea market is held every year in June in this small rural Yvelines village, located near Mantes-la-Jolie. Organized by the local festival committee, this endearing event gathers private sellers and a few occasional dealers for a day of bargain hunting in the authentic spirit of the Seine valley village flea markets. A discreet but precious rendezvous for enthusiasts.
Guerville is a small rural commune of about 2,400 inhabitants located southeast of Mantes-la-Jolie, in the Seine valley. This village, crossed by the D113 and nestled at the foot of a wooded hillside, holds its annual flea market every spring, organized by the local festival committee.
Like many villages of this size, the Guerville flea market is run by volunteers from the festival committee, who rally their energies to welcome exhibitors and visitors.
Exhibitors are mostly private sellers from Guerville and neighboring towns, coming to empty their attics in the friendly atmosphere of a village celebration.
Guerville's location, halfway between Mantes-la-Jolie and Meulan, makes it an ideal starting point for a Seine valley getaway.
The Guerville flea market is for all who love small village events, warm and authentic atmospheres, and encounters with locals.
