10th edition of the flea market in Faye-la-Vineuse, ancient medieval city in southern Touraine
The Faye-la-Vineuse flea market celebrates its 10th edition. This summer event brings together about a hundred exhibitors in this ancient medieval city in southern Touraine, featuring a remarkable Romanesque collegiate church and medieval underground passages.
The Faye-la-Vineuse flea market celebrates its 10th edition in 2026. Exhibitors — professionals and individuals — will take over the village center from 7:30 AM to 6 PM to offer antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, tools, toys, vintage clothing, embroidered linens, and collector's items. Around 100 exhibitors participate in this event, which has successfully retained the loyalty of bargain hunters from southern Touraine and northern Poitou.
Faye-la-Vineuse (37120) is an ancient medieval city in the Richelais region, located southwest of Indre-et-Loire, a few kilometers from Richelieu. The village preserves exceptional heritage for its size: the Saint-Georges collegiate church, a masterpiece of 11th-century Romanesque art, features a remarkable crypt and finely sculpted capitals. Beneath the village, a network of medieval underground passages testifies to the city's strategic importance in the Middle Ages. The name "la Vineuse" recalls the site's millennia-old wine-making tradition.
The Faye-la-Vineuse flea market offers an opportunity to combine bargain hunting with heritage discovery. Food and drinks are available on-site. Admission is free.
The 10th Faye-la-Vineuse flea market returns in August 2026 for an anniversary.
