Saint-Roch Flea Market with 100 exhibitors, country meal, fireworks and ball on the banks of the Vauvre
The Saint-Roch Committee Flea Market in Crozon-sur-Vauvre is a festive August event that brings together around 100 exhibitors in the heart of this village on the banks of the Vauvre. The day continues with a traditional country meal (omelette and potatoes), fireworks, and a popular ball.
On August 16th, the day of Saint-Roch, the village of Crozon-sur-Vauvre (36140) comes alive with its annual flea market organized by the Saint-Roch Committee. Around 100 exhibitors set up in the center of the village, along the picturesque banks of the Vauvre, offering antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, vinyl records, tools, and various flea market items. Entry is free and fast food is available during the day.
Crozon-sur-Vauvre is a rural commune of about 400 inhabitants, nestled in the Boischaut Sud region, between La Châtre and Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre. The village draws its charm from its location on the banks of the Vauvre, a small river that winds through woods and meadows. It is a hedgerow country dear to George Sand, where living hedges, sunken lanes, and characteristic farms create a preserved bucolic landscape.
The celebration doesn't stop with the flea market. In the evening, the Saint-Roch Committee offers a traditional country meal featuring omelette and potatoes, followed by fireworks and a popular ball. A complete village festival in the finest Berry tradition.
The Saint-Roch flea market returns on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Crozon-sur-Vauvre with 100 exhibitors, a country meal, and fireworks.
