Every Whit Monday, the Foyer Rural of Sabarat organizes its annual car boot sale on the village squares. This spring event, which takes advantage of the public holiday to attract exhibitors and visitors, is one of the highlights of the associative life of this commune in Séronais ariégeois. From 9 am to 5 pm, stalls are set up on the village squares of Sabarat, offering all sorts of items at accessible prices. Food and drinks are available on site, making the day a complete convivial moment.

Sabarat is a commune in the Ariège department (09350) belonging to the Séronais, the historic region that extends around Saint-Lizier and the upper Salat valley. Participation conditions and organization

Exhibitors wishing to participate in the Sabarat car boot sale must book their pitch in advance with the Foyer Rural, by email at [email protected] or by phone at 06 85 72 41 30. Pitches are priced at 2 euros per linear meter. The event takes place on the Place du Coustou and on the other village squares. Food and drinks are offered on site by the Foyer Rural volunteers.

Visitors are welcome free of charge from 9 am to 5 pm. The items offered include the usual variety of rural car boot sales in the Ariège region: furniture, tableware, clothing, books, toys, tools, and trinkets. The setting of the village of Sabarat, with its stone houses and its environment of hills and forests, adds to the charm of the event.
