About Madiran Car Boot Sale
The Cyclos du Madiranais car boot sale is organized each year by the Association des Cyclotouristes du Madiranais near the municipal campsite of Madiran. In this wine village famous for its AOC Madiran and Tannat wines, around 150 exhibitors set up their stalls from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Pitches are offered at 3 euros/linear meter outdoors and 4 euros/linear meter indoors with a table provided. Refreshments and food service on site complete this convivial day.
In the heart of the Madiran vineyard
The Cyclos du Madiranais car boot sale is held each year near the municipal campsite, at 3 Impasse des Jardins, in the village of Madiran. This Hautes-Pyrenees village is world-renowned for its AOC Madiran appellation, powerful red wines from the Tannat grape, and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh. The 11th-century priory and its listed church bear witness to a rich monastic heritage.
A meeting point for cycling tourists and bargain hunters
The Association des Cyclotouristes du Madiranais has been organizing this event for over fifteen years. The approximately 150 exhibitors offer clothing, books, trinkets, crockery and various objects. Exhibitors are welcomed from 6:30 am, and the refreshment bar with food service provides sustenance throughout the day.
