Every year on May 8th, the Association des Commerçants et Artisans du Boulonnais organizes its grand car boot sale on Avenue Charles Suran in Boulogne-sur-Gesse. This public holiday event attracts around 200 exhibitors and many visitors from Comminges, Savès, and the neighboring Hautes-Pyrénées for a friendly day of treasure hunting in this small town at the foot of the Pyrenees.

Pitches are available at the very affordable rate of 3 euros per linear meter, attracting both individuals wanting to clear out their attics and professional bargain hunters. Registration is by phone with the organizing association.

From 7 am to 6 pm, visitors browse the stalls in search of a good deal. The offer is varied: clothing, toys, books, crockery, small appliances, tools, trinkets, and decorative items.
