The Car Boot Sale of the Firefighters of Mirande

Every year in May, the Amicale des Sapeurs-Pompiers de Mirande organizes a car boot sale under the Halle André Daguin, the central location of this Gers bastide. This popular event brings together many exhibitors and attracts bargain hunters from all over the south of Gers and neighboring departments.

The Halle André Daguin, an emblematic space

The Halle André Daguin, named after the famous chef from Auch, is the beating heart of Mirande. This covered hall with wide aisles offers an ideal setting for a car boot sale: exhibitors are sheltered from bad weather while benefiting from a bright and airy space. Stands also extend outdoors onto the adjacent squares, creating a vast browsing area.

Differentiated rates covered/outdoor

The organization offers differentiated rates depending on the location: €3 per linear meter under the hall (covered space) and €2.50 per meter outdoors. This formula allows each exhibitor to choose according to their budget and preference, while ensuring a good distribution of stands between the inside and outside of the hall.

Mirande, capital of Astarac

Mirande is a Gascon bastide of about 3,600 inhabitants, the chief town of the former Astarac region. Founded in 1281, it has retained its characteristic checkerboard plan, its arcades (covered walkways), and its central square with arcades. The town is also known for its Country Music Festival in July, one of the largest country music festivals in Europe.
