Flea market organized by the Washington Parents' Association in Calais
The Parents' Association (APE) of the Washington school group in Calais is organizing its annual flea market. The profits are entirely reinvested to fund school trips, educational projects, and activities for the school children. Individuals and bargain hunters meet in a family-friendly atmosphere.
The APE Washington mobilizes volunteer parents and neighborhood residents for this annual flea market. The funds raised directly finance school projects: cultural outings, green classes, purchase of educational materials, and shows for the students.
The stalls offer clothes, toys, books, crockery, and decorative items at low prices. The refreshment stand and small catering run by the parents' association add to the conviviality of this day of solidarity for the school.
Brocante of APE Washington in Calais on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
