The Annual Flea Market of Tocane-Saint-Apre is one of the flagship events of this village in Périgord Blanc, located in the Dronne valley. For four decades, the village of Tocane-Saint-Apre has hosted its grand annual flea market, which has become an unmissable event for bargain hunters in Périgord Blanc and the Dronne valley. This event, celebrating its 40th edition, demonstrates the attachment of the local residents and associations to this popular tradition of treasure hunting and conviviality.
On the day of the flea market, the streets of the center of Tocane-Saint-Apre are transformed into a vast market for antique and second-hand items. Professional and private exhibitors set up their stalls under marquees erected for the occasion, while the village hall hosts the most fragile merchants or the most precious collections. You can find regional furniture, tableware, antique tools, books, trinkets, old linen, and a thousand curiosities from Périgord.
A village in the Dronne valley, between Ribérac and Périgueux, Tocane-Saint-Apre is a commune of nearly 1,600 inhabitants with remarkable architectural heritage. The Romanesque church of Saint-Pierre, the pale stone houses, and the banks of the Dronne form a typical landscape of Périgord Blanc. The commune is also known for its old train station, converted into an antique and flea market shop run by passionate artisans.
The flea market is accompanied by on-site catering and refreshment services, allowing visitors and exhibitors to eat in a festive atmosphere. Local Périgord products are highlighted, with grills, local specialties, and cold drinks.
