Every June, the ADMR of Saint-Jean-d'Angély organizes its annual car boot sale at the Plan d'eau de Bernouet, a leisure area nestled on the banks of the Boutonne river south of the medieval town. This solidarity event allows individuals to clear out their attics while supporting ADMR's home help services for the elderly, families, and people with disabilities in the Angérien region.

ADMR (Aide à Domicile en Milieu Rural) is the leading home help network in France, present throughout the country since 1945. The Saint-Jean-d'Angély branch offers services such as domestic help, childcare, support for the elderly, and meal delivery in the Vals de Saintonge region. The proceeds from the car boot sale contribute to the funding of these local solidarity actions.

Up to 200 Exhibitors at the Plan d'eau de Bernouet

The ADMR car boot sale can accommodate up to 200 pitches along the allée des Nymphéas, in a shaded and green setting. The registration fee is 3 euros per linear meter, with a minimum of 4 meters for a car and 6 meters for a truck or a car with a trailer. Advance registration is mandatory by phone or email, specifying name, surname, phone number, email, and the number of meters required.

A Natural Waterside Setting

The Plan d'eau de Bernouet is a leisure area developed on the banks of the Boutonne river, offering a peaceful and green environment. Strollers, fishermen, and families mingle with bargain hunters during this summer flea market day. On-site catering and nearby parking complete the amenities of this well-equipped site.
