The major plant fair of the Mauldre valley
The Maule Plant Fair is an eagerly awaited horticultural event for amateur gardeners and plant enthusiasts in the Yvelines. Every year in late May, around 175 exhibitors gather in this village of the Mauldre valley to offer perennials, shrubs, aromatics, seeds and gardening equipment. More than just a market, this plant fair is a celebration of living things and gardening know-how.
Every year at the end of May, the town of Maule, a peaceful village in the Mauldre valley in the Yvelines, hosts its traditional Plant Fair. This event, bringing together around 175 exhibitors from across the ÃŽle-de-France region and neighboring areas, has become one of the major horticultural events of western Paris.
The Maule Plant Fair is much more than just a flower market: it is a true celebration of living things. Rare perennials, old roses, ornamental shrubs, aromatic and medicinal plants, forgotten vegetables, annuals, bulbs, local seeds, cacti and succulents, fruit trees, bonsai… the botanical diversity on offer appeals to both experienced gardeners and beginners.
One of the main attractions of this plant fair lies in the presence of competent and passionate exhibitors. Nurserymen willingly share their advice on variety selection, planting methods, care, and adaptation to the ÃŽle-de-France climate.
The town of Maule, rich in medieval heritage and an 11th-century Romanesque church, provides a pleasant setting for extending the visit. The village, crossed by the Mauldre river, is surrounded by wooded hills and agricultural landscapes typical of the Mantois region.
Whether you are an experienced gardener looking for botanical rarities or an amateur wanting to get started in gardening, the Maule Plant Fair offers a rich and inspiring experience.
The 2026 Maule Plant Fair will take place on May 30, 2026. Around 175 exhibitors are expected for this major horticultural event in the Yvelines: nurserymen, producers and gardening associations will offer a wide selection of perennials, shrubs, aromatics and bulbs. Free admission.
