A summer ritual by the sea

Each summer, Fréjus-Plage comes alive at dusk for one of the Var's biggest night markets. From Saturday 27 June to Sunday 30 August 2026, every evening 8pm-12.30am, over 130 exhibitors line Boulevard d'Alger and Boulevard de la Libération. Run by the town of Fréjus and the Tourist Office, it is an emblematic summer event of the Var Riviera.

Unlike flea markets or brocantes, this is a crafts and creators market: no second-hand nor antiques, but original creations, local and regional crafts, gourmet products and quality souvenirs. A resolutely summery vibe, driven by holidaymakers and locals strolling after the beach.

Fréjus-Plage, emblematic resort

Fréjus-Plage is Fréjus's seaside part, with a 2-km sandy beach, a refurbished seafront and ample dining and lodging. The night market extends summer life along the boulevards. Parking can be tricky in season; use outer car parks or buses.
