Traditional flea market at the Achenheim community hall, organised by the Coup de Main, Coup de Cœur association
The Achenheim Flea Market is a popular spring event in the Strasbourg urban area. Organised by the 'Coup de Main, Coup de Cœur' association, it takes place in and around the village community hall on Route de Holtzheim. This flea market reserved for private sellers brings together dozens of exhibitors offering a wide range of second-hand items: clothing, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, small furniture, decorative items, tools and countless everyday treasures at gentle prices. The atmosphere is family-friendly and convivial, true to the spirit of Alsatian village brocantes. The community hall provides appreciated covered space in case of bad weather, while the surrounding area hosts outdoor exhibitors. Refreshments and light catering are provided on site by the association's volunteers.
The Achenheim Flea Market is part of the rich tradition of brocantes in the Strasbourg urban area. Located just minutes from the Alsatian metropolis, this village benefits from a large population catchment that guarantees a regular flow of exhibitors and visitors. The 'Coup de Main, Coup de Cœur' association organises this convivial event each year, reserved exclusively for private individuals selling second-hand items. This choice guarantees the event's authenticity: no professional stands, only local residents clearing their attics, cellars and cupboards for the pleasure of sharing and recycling.
The Achenheim community hall, located on Route de Holtzheim, offers a spacious, covered venue hosting some of the exhibitors, while the surrounding area becomes an open-air market with additional stands. Visitors discover an eclectic assortment of items: adult and children's clothing, shoes, toys, board games, books, CDs and DVDs, trinkets, crockery, glassware, small furniture, decorative items, household linen, tools, childcare items, bags, accessories and unusual objects. As places are numbered and limited, arriving early is recommended for the best choice. The refreshment stand and small catering stall allow pleasant refreshment.

The village is known to archaeologists for its rich prehistoric and Gallo-Roman past, attested by numerous discoveries. Today, Achenheim is a pleasant residential commune with a dynamic community fabric, of which the 'Coup de Main, Coup de Cœur' association is a jewel, organising supportive and convivial events throughout the year for residents.
