The second edition of Livres en Liberté was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in the Jardin des Moines in Brantôme en Périgord. The association Lecture en Val de Dronne offered a market of second-hand books, reviews, magazines, and catalogs for the benefit of the fight against illiteracy, from 10 am to 6 pm, in the enchanting setting of the Venice of Périgord.

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, the Jardin des Moines in Brantôme en Périgord hosted the second edition of Livres en Liberté. The association Lecture en Val de Dronne organized this second-hand book market for the benefit of the fight against illiteracy, in the green setting located between the Benedictine abbey and the Dronne river.
From 10 am to 6 pm, visitors could browse stalls of second-hand books, reviews, magazines, and catalogs. Novels, essays, art books, and comic strips found new readers in a cultural and solidarity atmosphere. The exceptional setting of the Venice of Périgord, between the Renaissance elbowed bridge and shaded gardens, contributed to the charm of this day dedicated to the pleasure of reading.
