Great flea market on August 15th in the hamlet of La Borne, a major center for ceramics in Henrichemont
The Puces de la Borne takes place every August 15th in the hamlet of La Borne, in the commune of Henrichemont. Organized by the association A.V.A.C.e, this large flea market brings together between 200 and 300 exhibitors who set up along the Route de Sancerre, at a place called Les Cerfs d'En Haut. Individuals and professionals offer furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, clothing, and various objects in this rural and artistic setting.
The hamlet of La Borne is a unique place in France. A center for ceramic creation since the 12th century, it is renowned for its production of stoneware and today hosts eighty contemporary potters and ceramists in their workshops. The Puces de la Borne benefit from this singular artistic atmosphere: between the flea market stalls, you can find open workshops of ceramists and art galleries.
Entry is free for visitors. The flea market runs from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The exhibitor fee is 4 euros per linear meter. Setup is possible from the day before starting at 2:00 PM. Refreshments and food are available on site. Parking is available nearby.
