An Evening Flea Market for the Patron Saint Festival

Every summer, the Saint-Romain-la-Motte Festival Committee enlivens the village's patron saint festival with a semi-nocturnal flea market. The idea: to hunt for bargains in the late afternoon and evening, when the heat subsides, in a friendly and festive atmosphere. The 2026 edition will be held on Friday, July 17, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Espace ERA, in Le Bourg.

Exhibitors and Bargains

Exhibitors set up from 4 p.m. The pitch is charged at 1 € per linear meter, a very accessible rate that attracts both individuals looking to clear out their attics and regulars of flea markets in the Roanne region. Clothes, toys, crockery, books, furniture, and all kinds of second-hand items fill the stalls.

Refreshment Stand, Entertainment, and Patron Saint Festival

The flea market is part of the patron saint festival program: a refreshment stand and entertainment accompany the evening, in the village center. Parking is provided for both visitors and exhibitors. Entry is free for the public.

Saint-Romain-la-Motte is a commune in the Loire department, in the Roannais region, between Roanne and Saint-Germain-Lespinasse. Its associative network organises several events there each year, including a flea market in spring and this semi-nocturnal flea market for the patron saint festival in July.
