Vougy, a commune located a few kilometers west of Roanne, celebrates every July 14th with a major car boot sale. With around 300 exhibitors, it is one of the biggest flea market events in the north of the Loire department. The "Comité de la Fête" has been organizing this event for over three decades, making it a well-established tradition in the local calendar.

A complete day of festivities

The Vougy car boot sale is not just about flea market finds: it's a true day of patriotic festivities. The morning is dedicated to the car boot sale, welcoming visitors from 6 am. In the late morning, a musical aperitif livens up the streets. In the afternoon, pétanque competitions (doubles and parent-child) take over. The evening concludes with fireworks and a popular ball. Registration on-site for €5 for 5 meters and free entry for visitors contribute to the success of this festive event.
