Lamonzie-Saint-Martin Car Boot Sale

On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, the village of Lamonzie-Saint-Martin hosted its large annual car boot sale, organized by the Association Partenaires de l'École. From 6 am, about fifty private sellers set up their stalls in the school parking lot and along Avenue de Bergerac, attracting early morning bargain hunters from the Bergerac region.

The traditional garlic omelette, an essential May 1st specialty in Dordogne, was served to visitors by the association's volunteers. The covered area allowed some stalls to be sheltered, while the day's profits were donated to fund the educational projects of the Lamonzie-Saint-Martin school.
