Lamanon Car Boot Sale

The Lamanon Car Boot Sale held its 2025 edition in the heart of this Provençal village of 2,088 inhabitants, nestled at the foot of the Alpilles, 5 kilometers north of Salon-de-Provence. Organized by the APE (Parents' Association), the event brought together private sellers in the village center, in the 4x3 meter pitches reserved during registration appointments at the Salle Pierre Richaud.

Treasure hunters browsed stalls offering clothes, toys, crockery, books, trinkets, and small furniture at attractive prices, enjoying free entry and a refreshment stand with food on site. The friendly and convivial atmosphere that characterizes this village car boot sale attracted visitors from Salon-de-Provence, Eyguières, and surrounding communes.

Lamanon offered visitors its exceptional heritage setting. The Caves of Calès, a natural cirque housing 116 troglodytic cavities dug into the molasse and occupied from the Neolithic to the 15th century, constitute one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Provence. The giant plane tree, the "Giant of Provence", a three-hundred-year-old tree 25 meters high with a trunk of 8 meters in circumference, classified as a natural monument since 1918, completed this unique setting combining natural and historical heritage.
