Hunting at the foot of the Renaissance château of the Pays d'Aigues
La Tour-d'Aigues is famous above all for its imposing Renaissance château, an architectural jewel listed as a historic monument, built in the 16th century and long compared to a Provençal Louvre. Burnt down in 1782 and again in 1792, it still preserves its majestic façades, square pavilion and park. It is in the shadow of this heritage that one of the most popular flea markets in the south of Vaucluse unfolds each spring.
A faithful organiser of brocantes in the Pays d'Aigues, the Pertuis Cycling Association sets up the event with its associative expertise. Stalls are installed on the former campground and around Place Garcin.
General private-sellers' flea market: attic bric-a-brac, clothing, toys, books, vinyl records, Provençal tableware, linen, small furniture, knick-knacks, decorative items, occasional regional gems (Apt faience, old farming tools). The atmosphere is relaxed, prices are low.
On 29 March 2026, La Tour-d'Aigues kicked off the spring flea market season of the southern Luberon. From 6am, private exhibitors took their places on the former campground and around Place Garcin, forming long hunting alleys that filled with bargain hunters throughout the day.
Organised by the Pertuis Cycling Association, the edition enjoyed pleasant spring weather and strong attendance, confirming the event's reputation with aficionados of the Pays d'Aigues and the Aix metropolitan area.
