Founded in 2012, the Ecoloris association opened Maison Garbay in 2016 as an intergenerational meeting place in the heart of Haute Lande. La Garbayerie, which takes the form of a solidarity street sale, is one of the regular events offered by the association.

A solidarity and ecological concept

The principle of La Garbayerie is based on a call for donations: residents of Luglon and neighboring towns are invited to donate clothes, objects, books, and bric-a-brac they no longer use. These items are then offered for sale during the street sale, at free or very affordable prices. The objective is twofold: to reduce waste by promoting reuse and to create social connection around this solidarity initiative.
