La Braderie de l'Île took over Place Wattignies and Rue de l'Échappée in September 2025, offering the residents of Île de Nantes and Nantes in general a friendly and lively second-hand market at the start of autumn. The pitches offered at €10 for 2.5x2.5 meters attracted many exhibitors eager to take advantage of the district's significant foot traffic.
On the stalls, clothes, books, records, toys, tableware, and decorative items animated transactions between sellers and buyers throughout the day. The creative and committed spirit of the Île de Nantes once again found expression in this participatory and convivial event, embodying the values of circular economy and social connection dear to the residents of this constantly transforming neighborhood. A great 2025 edition that retained its audience and attracted new second-hand enthusiasts.
