Joussé Collectors Fair and Brocante

A multi-collections fair in South Vienne

Joussé is a small rural commune of about 400 inhabitants in Civraisien en Poitou, in the south-east of Vienne department. Each year, Joussé's Club de l'Amitié runs one of the most complete events in this corner of south Vienne: a collectors fair combined with a brocante, vide-grenier, and regional producers market. The whole takes place at the Fabien Iribarren polyvalent hall, allowing partially indoor setup, ideal even in uncertain weather.

The 2026 edition

The next edition is scheduled for Sunday 26 April 2026 from 9am to 6pm in the Fabien Iribarren hall. The event combines several universes in one place: collector items exhibition-sale, traditional brocante stalls, private sellers' vide-grenier, and regional producers market. This diversity makes the rendezvous strong.

Local dynamism is strong: beyond the April collectors fair, Joussé also hosts a brocante-vide-grenier on 31 May 2026 and another on 14 June 2026. Remarkable rural associative activity for a commune this size.

Joussé and Civraisien

Joussé belongs to the Civraisien en Poitou community of communes, a land of plains and cultivated valleys where goat farming (chabichou country), viticulture and grain farming mix. The commune has a typical Romanesque church. Civray, canton head, is 25 km away with its remarkable Saint-Nicolas church and sculpted Romanesque facade.

The April edition is a perfect chance to discover this often overlooked south Vienne: Civraisien Romanesque churches, hedged farmland, small villages. 20 minutes away, Charroux (one of France's Most Beautiful Villages) shelters the remains of its former Benedictine abbey.
