The great Easter flea market at Hotoie Park, 30th edition
Every Easter Monday, the Hotoie Flea Market takes over the Hotoie Park in Amiens for one of the largest bargain hunting events in the Somme. Organised for three decades by the Saint-Roch/Saint-Jacques district committee, this historic private-sellers-only flea market celebrates its 30th edition in 2026 on the park's alleys, around the bandstand and along the Hotoie Promenade.
The Hotoie Flea Market is part of Amiens' popular cultural heritage. Thirty editions in 2026 - the story of an event driven by the exemplary dedication of the Saint-Roch/Saint-Jacques district committee. Born in the 1990s, it has become one of the largest bargain hunting events in Picardy, with several hundred exhibitors and thousands of visitors on Easter Monday.
The Hotoie Park is a vast listed green space west of the city centre, near Saint-Pierre Park and the hortillonnages. With its shaded alleys, bandstand, swan pond and lawns, it provides an ideal setting for an event of this scale. The flea market spreads along the Hotoie Promenade, the 51st RI Alley, the Zoo Alley and around the bandstand.
The market's strength lies in its private-sellers-only nature, firmly defended by the district committee. No professionals, no disguised dealers, no new goods: only Amiens residents emptying attics, cellars and cupboards.
In 2026, spots are sold in 3-metre modules at €18 (€15 for members), with up to 10 consecutive spots. Online registration via mybrocante.fr from 6 to 20 March 2026. Vehicle access for exhibitors from 6 to 8 am and after 5.30 pm.
From 8 am to 5.30 pm, the Hotoie hums with activity. Early hunters arrive at dawn; families come around 10-11 am to enjoy the spring sun. The diversity of the offer lets everyone find something.
The market reaches far beyond its home district. It brings together Amiens residents of all ages, Picards from Abbeville and Saint-Quentin, curious visitors from the Nord and Oise, tourists passing through. The festive Easter Monday atmosphere, often enhanced by fine weather, makes this an emblematic spring moment for Amiens.
The 30th edition of the Hotoie Flea Market was held on Monday 6 April 2026, from 8 am to 5.30 pm. An anniversary event for this Amiens institution, bringing together hundreds of private exhibitors and thousands of bargain hunters at Hotoie Park as every Easter Monday.
