200 exhibitors in the heart of the Santerre for the May Day réderie
With its 200 exhibitors expected in 2026, the Harbonnières Flea Market stands out as one of the major rural réderies of the Picard Santerre. Organized every May 1st by the Harbonnières Animation Committee, it spreads around 27 rue du Stade and in the adjacent streets of the village, opening its doors from 5am for early birds.
Harbonnières is a commune of about six hundred inhabitants, located on the Santerre plateau, between Amiens and Péronne. Like most villages in the sector, it was deeply marked by the First World War, particularly by the spectacular offensive of August 8, 1918, the Battle of Amiens, which saw the village liberated by Australian troops.
The Harbonnières Animation Committee, an active village association, ensures the organization of this event. The exceptional time range (5am-6pm) testifies to the commitment of the organizing team.
With two hundred exhibitors, the assortment is rich and varied: private flea markets (clothing, toys, crockery, books, knick-knacks, small furniture, tools), more elaborate brocante stands, vide-dressings, improvised book or record fairs.
The catering and refreshment stand, provided by the Animation Committee, allow people to stay on site all day.
