Longeville's halles offer an ideal brocante setting: covered, central, spacious, authentic. Twice a year (May and June), the commune hosts its Under-the-Halles brocante, a South-Vendée favourite and popular with early-season holidaymakers. 2026 spring edition: Sunday 3 May.

Under-the-halles format is appreciated by sellers and visitors: sheltered from spring weather, historic atmospheric setting. Stalls along two bays, fluid circulation, varied offering mixing private and professional dealers.

Longeville-sur-Mer, family Vendée resort

South-Vendée coastal commune, appreciated for large fine-sand beach, pine forest and family mood. Less known than Les Sables-d'Olonne or La Tranche-sur-Mer, it remains preserved. Centre-bourg with halles, shops, market; several beaches (Les Conches very popular).
