Every spring, the Claudie-Haigneré neighborhood house, avenue du Général-de-Gaulle in Chamiers (municipality of Coulounieix-Chamiers), hosts the Grenier des Couturières et des Loisirs Créatifs. Organized by the ALC association (Animation Loisirs Culture), this event brings together about thirty exhibitors passionate about sewing, fabrics, and creative hobbies.

Sewing and creative hobbies

The Grenier des Couturières is a specialized event, distinct from classic car boot sales. Exhibitors offer fabrics, haberdashery, patterns, sewing machines, wool, threads, and all the necessary materials for sewing and handicrafts. Demonstrations of scrapbooking, silk painting, and glass engraving are organized, allowing visitors to discover these creative techniques.

A heated and accessible space

The Claudie-Haigneré neighborhood house offers a heated indoor space, ideal for this type of spring event. The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has restrooms and free parking. Tables are provided by the association, at a rate of €6 per table.

Reservation and conditions

Reservation is mandatory with the ALC association. The event does not accept food vendors. About thirty exhibitors are welcomed for this day dedicated to needle arts and creativity.
