Every July, the Lamarque site in Lagruère (47400) transforms into a place of celebration and sharing for the Gratiferia organized by the Éco Recyclerie du Tonneinquais. This extraordinary event celebrates reuse, donation, and swapping in a festive and committed atmosphere, far from traditional flea markets.

The Gratiferia Principle

The Gratiferia is a donation market, a philosophy born in Argentina that has spread worldwide. The principle is simple: everyone can freely drop off items they no longer need, and freely take what they like from the available items, with no obligation to exchange or pay. Donations are of course welcome to support the recyclery's actions, but nothing is mandatory. It is trust and generosity that make this alternative market work.

A Committed and Festive Celebration

The day is not limited to the donation market. It includes a raffle, one or more concerts, stands from creators and associations involved in reuse and the circular economy, and the recyclery's solidarity shop open all day with selected items at low prices. The event takes place from 10 am to 6 pm in the green setting of the Lamarque site.

The Éco Recyclerie du Tonneinquais

The Éco Recyclerie du Tonneinquais is a social and solidarity economy structure based in Lamarque, in Lagruère. It collects, repairs, and resells second-hand items to combat waste and promote professional integration. Its shop is open all year round and offers furniture, appliances, clothing, books, and all sorts of everyday items at very affordable prices. The Gratiferia is its flagship event, attracting many participants from the Tonneins region each year.
